Elizabeth Olsen from HBO’s “Love and Death”
FX has officially ordered a pilot for the new drama, Seven Sisters, starring Elizabeth Olsen. The project reunites filmmaker Sean Durkin and Olsen almost 15 years after her acclaimed collaboration with Martha Mercy May Marlene.

Things start to fall apart as her character starts to hear voices that no one else can do. According to Logline, this unstable development forces the family to confront long-standing secrets. It eliminates emotional confusion, uneasy revelation, and perhaps many sibling dramas.
Behind the scenes, seven sisters gather a serious creative team. As originally reported by deadlines, the pilot was written by playwright and successor writer Will Arbery. The duties of director are Sean Durkin. Sean Durkin’s recent wrestling drama The Iron Claw caused a wave last year. Garrett Basch – Dive Production Company has delivered FX shows such as Devs, Reservation Dogs and what we do on Shadows.
Durkin and Olsen’s final collaboration, Martha Mercy May Marlene, was Durkin’s feature debut and Olsen’s breakout role. The psychological thriller has earned them many acclaim, including Durkin’s Best Sundance Director’s and Olsen’s Nominations for Independent Spirit Awards. Durkin’s next feature film project is Deep Cuts, a romantic drama starring Saoirse Ronan and Austin Butler.
With this latest project, Olsen continues his busy schedule. She is currently in careful production in Warner Bros. thriller Panic, across from Julia Roberts. She also starred in the reviews alongside Alicia Vikander and starred in the executive-produced romantic comedy Eternal.
