Samara Weaving’s latest film plays a reformist vacation driver who appears to be inevitable from trouble. The official trailer arrives for Eanee Meany, an action thriller where Weaving’s Eddie, known for her honorable alias, returns to her old life for a job she didn’t ask for.

Eddie, a teenage vacation driver, is now trying to keep her life clean. That plan falls apart when the former employer offers her last job in high stakes. The job includes robbery at the casino, driving at high speeds, and reunions she wants to avoid.
The trailer hints at a sharp front and back between Eddie and John, with action sequences that put Weaving’s skill and perseverance on the full display. Supporting cast includes Jermaine Fowler, Steve Zahn, Andy Garcia, Randall Park and Marshawn Lynch.
Behind the movie
Eenie Meanie is the feature debut of Writer-Director Shawn Simmons, creator of the Action-Comedy series Wayne and author of The Continental. The film is produced by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, known for their Deadpool film productions, along with producer Marty Ewing.
In an interview with Collider, Simmons explained why weaving is an easy choice for roles. “Samara is someone I’ve been watching for a while. I love whether I’m really ready or not. It’s so funny, so dark, so exciting and thrilling.
