In addition to practicing pre-Alpha builds of Wolves Den, the 10th Chambers revealed to us that they are creating a documentary series on the development of the game. Conversations about the difficulty of game development and the bridge between consumers and developers often appear in today’s gaming environment. 10 Chambers is one of the games’ most raw, least filtered documentaries, and seeks to recall the often opaque process of modern game development.
The first season of Do the Game consists of eight 30-minute episodes that contain various parts of the Wolf Den’s development timeline. It tracks countless members of the team in all areas, not only while they work, but also when they live their personal lives. Based on what was described for the project, it appears to be one of the most comprehensive documentation of game development.
10 Chambers CEO and creative director Ulf Andersson described them as a very raw, sophisticated version of people during the game development process. Highs, lowest, difficult meetings, obstacles to present themselves immediately after solving another problem. All of these things we hear happen frequently in the industry, but they rarely unfold. As far as Den of Wolves has, it contains a lot of content for games in development.
The game doesn’t have a release date yet, but check out the teaser trailer below.
