An official teaser trailer has been released for Die My Love, a new psychological drama of Lynne Ramsay (Kevin, you weren’t really here), starring Jennifer Lawrence and Robert Pattinson. Please take a look at the teaser above and read the information.
The film takes place in rural Montana and follows Grace (Lawrence), a new mother who falls apart in the seams, and Jackson (Pattinson), who is not trying to maintain the pace. The teaser closes it – there is no dialogue, just a volatile flash: conflict, knives, houses, and relationships do not feel exactly safe. The story follows a couple leaving New York, and then heads to the home of his domestic heirs only to turn the retreat into a pressure cooker.
Buzz is building. After its competition premiere at Cannes in May, Mbi stopped distribution with a reported $24 million deal. The teaser is aimed at award-winning Lane Mubi, named “The Studio Behind Matter” and Cheekily, named “The Studio” by producer Martin Scorsese. Early reviews praise Lawrence’s turn, so the fifth Oscar nomination here is no surprise.
Ramsay adopts the same name from Ariana Harwitz’s 2012 novel from a script she co-written with Alice Birch and Enda Walsh. Producers include Lawrence, Scorsese, Andrea Calderwood, Justin Siarlockki, Sad Luckinville, Trent Luckinville and Molly Smith. Alongside Lawrence and Pattinson, the ensemble includes Sissy Spac, Nick Norte and Lakes Stanfield.
My love to die will be our cinema on November 7th, 2025.
