Adding fuel to these rumors was the publication of a purported memoir titled “Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey to Justice from the Other Side.” The novel, published on Amazon by independent author Todd Christopher Gutse, is said to be a retelling of Porter’s combination of “flash drives, documents, and tapes.”
According to the Associated Press, Gudze claimed these sources were provided to him by “someone very close to Kim and Sean Combs.” But when asked directly by Rolling Stone magazine, he responded, “If someone were to hold my foot to the fire and say, ‘Life or Death, is that book real?'” I have to say I don’t know, but it’s real enough for me. ”
The book was published shortly after Diddy’s arrest and claimed to reveal the secrets of Diddy’s relationship with Star, but it has since been removed by Amazon.
Porter’s children later issued a strong statement calling the memoir a “fake” and denying conspiracy theories as “harmful and false.”
“We have seen so many harmful and false rumors spread about our parents, Kim Porter and Sean Combs’ relationship, and about the tragic death of our mother.” the two posted on Instagram.
“The claim that our mother wrote the book is completely false. She didn’t actually write it. And anyone who claims to have the manuscript is misrepresenting themselves. Furthermore, please understand that the so-called “friends” who speak on behalf of our mothers and their families do not. He’s not her friend, and he doesn’t have her best interests at heart. ”
