Hotter news than a castle under siege is that the release date for Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has been moved up by a week.
Although it was announced in April 2024 that it would be released later this year, developer Warhorse Studios later confirmed the game’s release date as February 11, 2025, and will be released on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. It happened.
After selling over 8 million copies of the first game, Plaion and Warhorse Studios are currently targeting a release date of February 4, 2025, one week earlier than expected.
I recently had the opportunity to speak with Tobias Stolz-Zwilling, Global PR Manager at Warhorse Studios, where we discussed all things KCD. That includes how far they’ve come since their early days and what Henry’s journey will be like in the sequel.
The new release date also saw the release of a new trailer showing Henry haunted by ghosts from his past as the land of Bohemia begins to change with political unrest and bloodshed.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance II is scheduled to launch on February 4, 2025 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. You can read an interview with the team here.
