Argonaut Games has released a new gameplay trailer for Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remastered. The game is scheduled for release in 2024 on PS5, PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox Series X/S, and Xbox One.
Jez San, founder of Argonaut Games, commented in a press release:
Croc Remastered aims to reignite players’ imaginations with enhanced HD graphics, modern controls, and an authentic gameplay experience that transports players back to the golden age of gaming. Croc: Legend of the Gobbos is both a fond memory for retro gamers and an exhilarating new adventure for first-timers. We’ve been dedicated to bringing this remaster to as wide an audience as possible, allowing PC fans on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and GOG to experience the magic and fun of Croc.

Croc: Legend of the Gobbos was originally released for PSOne and Sega Saturn in 1997 and follows the titular reptilian hero as he embarks on an adventure to save the Gobbos from resident villain Baron Dante and his army of villains. I am. The remaster includes Crocipedia, a digital museum that delves deep into the game’s development, including concept art, animation tests, exclusive interviews, and more.
Croc: Legend of the Gobbos Remastered doesn’t have a specific release date yet, but it’s already been released in late October, so we probably won’t have to wait long for an announcement.
