The Three Absolutes of Life is a fighting game featuring death, taxes, and a wealth of DLC characters. While not your typical fighting game, Dragon Ball Sparking!Zero is going all-in on the DLC train with a season pass already available for purchase. We have summarized the known information about “Dragon Ball Sparking”! There’s no DLC (albeit a few possible leaks) and it’s all here.
The only one confirmed so far is Dragon Ball: Sparking! The Zero DLC is a season pass that features over 20 playable fighters across three DLC packs. It costs $34.99 and is available on Steam, Xbox, and PlayStation stores. Also included in the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the game.

The first DLC pack to be released as Dragon Ball: Sparking!Zero DLC is based on the 2022 movie Dragon Ball: Super Super Heroes and is expected to be released in Q1 2025.
Confirmed characters:
So far, Bandai Namco has confirmed that Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are the fighters included in the pack, but that doesn’t stop us from speculating who else will be included. Obviously included are Gohan’s Beast form and the normal and giant versions of Orange Piccolo, as well as the villain Cellmax. We would be shocked if any of them were missing. Other potential candidates include Pan, Dr. Hedo, and Magenta, with the latter potentially joining Mr. Satan in the Destruction Point 1 category.

The second DLC pack is released as “Dragon Ball Sparking”! The Zero DLC is based on the new Dragon Ball Daima and is expected to be released in Q1 2025.
Confirmed characters:
Bandai Namco has confirmed that the first two fighters included in the pack will be Vegeta (mini) and Glorio from Dragon Ball Daima. As of this writing, Daima has only aired one episode, so it’s a little hard to guess who else will join the pack, but the main crew of Glorio, Supreme Kai, and Pansy Additionally, I imagine it will include a villain. Like Gomer and Deges.
The third DLC pack will be released as “Dragon Ball Sparking”! The Zero DLC is based on the new Dragon Ball Daima and is expected to be released in Q2 2025.
Unlike the first two Dragon Ball: Sparking. There are zero DLC packs. There are no characters confirmed for this pack. All we know is that it’s Dyma themed. Considering Daima has just started and this DLC won’t be available until at least April 2025, it’s possible we haven’t seen any of the characters included in this pack in the show yet.
Nothing has been confirmed other than “Dragon Ball Sparking”! It’s rare to see a fighting game release just one season pass as successful as Zero Season Pass and especially Dragon Ball: Sparking. zero. According to Bandai, the game sold over 3 million copies in its first week. Additionally, if you look at other Dragon Ball games like Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 (the latter released in 2016!), they continue to receive DLC to this day. So you can’t go wrong with Dragon Ball Sparking! Zero will get more DLC after the first season pass.
As for what those include, it’s worth noting that DBSZ’s roster doesn’t include any characters from the original Dragon Ball series, aside from Kid Goku and characters who appeared in later Dragon Ball series. Therefore, characters such as Piccolo Daimao, Taopaipai, Chi-Chi, and Android 8 could become DLC fighters in the future. This game also strangely skips the Dragon Ball Super Broly movie (other than Broly), so King Vegeta, Cheelai, etc. could also be a shoutout.
Proper Dragon Ball: There was no Sparking. There are no DLC leaks yet, but there are some potential clues regarding future characters.

I posted a post disclosing data on warriors who may appear in Dragon Ball: Sparking! There are zero files. Warriors included in the upcoming Dragon Ball Super: Super Heroes and Dragon Ball Daima packs are not included in the list, but there are also many warriors who will not appear in the game. Here is the complete list of them:
Mondo Mega also states that additional transformations such as Videl’s Great Saiyaman 2 and Android 17’s Super 17 were also found in the files. That being said, the presence of these names in the file does not guarantee that the character will appear as a Dragon Ball Sparking character. As always, it’s best to wait until official confirmation (or more concrete leaks) emerge for the Zero DLC.
