As fans traveled to Massey Hall in Toronto to watch Clairo perform this week, an unexpected notification rang on their phones.
It was a message from the 26-year-old Pretty Girl singer. Her show, which was scheduled to begin in 58 minutes, will not take place.
“Hello everyone. We regret to inform you that our next three performances in Toronto have been postponed,” Clairo said in a statement. × (Former Twitter) page started.

“Unfortunately for everyone who bought tickets to see me play, I am suffering from extreme fatigue and have been advised to return home until the Boston performance.” she continued.
“I want you to experience the best show possible, but I’m not in a position to do that right now. Updates on refunds, rescheduled show dates that honor current tickets, and more I will share it as soon as I get it.”

She concluded, “Please hold on to your tickets! Thank you for your understanding. We will make up for it!”
Clyro was scheduled to perform in Boston, Massachusetts, on October 28th, and was scheduled to finish in Toronto, Canada, on October 25th (Saturday in Australia).

Not all fans understood, one fan wrote: ×: “It’s funny that you’re posting this on the night of your first concert in Toronto, when people are already lining up. So you’re continuing in Boston, right after Toronto? Makes sense. Do you have it?”
In response, Clyro replied: ×: “All I can say is I’m sorry. I’m trying to figure everything out in real time, refunds, etc. I’m just trying to survive.”
“I know that’s not what you want to hear. Touring can take people to the point of no return. And I’m going back to Boston to avoid canceling any more shows, you. I love you.”
