Based on the release dates of previous titles in the series, many speculated that the game would arrive at the end of the year. However, it is slightly earlier than last year’s Modern Warfare 3, which launched in November.
Modern Warfare 3 became the second best-selling title of the year, behind Hogwarts Legacy, which was released a few months ago in February. So, if it’s anything to go by, we predict that the long-awaited Black Ops 6 will be released. It performs equally well.

It will drop in the UK (and Ireland) on October 25, 2024 at 5am BST.

First, let’s take a closer look at the campaign.
After sustaining a life-altering injury, series veteran Frank Woods returns in a new role for the CIA, teaming up with Troy Marshall, a driven and tenacious soldier in the field.
The story revolves around the pair and a series of new and familiar characters, including Russell Adler, who previously appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.
There will also be gadget and weapon upgrades, as well as a new safe house called the Manor on top of a granite cliff. As you’d expect in a CoD game, there are a variety of other locations to visit, from casinos in Europe to the deserts of Iraq.
For multiplayer, Treyarch has created an entirely new movement system known as Omnimovement.
Players will be able to sprint, slide, and dive in all directions, creating plenty of opportunities to create moments worthy of any gameplay montage.
Zombies is also back in a big way, with two round-based maps included at the game’s launch.
