Bum Margiela appears to be on Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4

Following the recent release of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, fans quickly realised that after suffering from legal and health issues over the past few years, it has encouraged speculation that he was cut out of the remake completely after being omitted from the trailer.

This was clearly the case until Tony Hawk himself stepped in and demanded that Margiela be revived as a playable skater in the game.

This prompted Activision to skip the previous Jackass and Viva La Bam Star to the studio for a full body scan and then add it to the game, with a final plan change. The news comes via the Skate Podcast, the nine clubs that have been detailed before and after Hawk and the activity, and ultimately led to changes.

“The game was already done,” Bagley explained. “Tony called out Activision and it was like, ‘Hey, we’re putting Bam in the thing.’ They were like, “Hey, we can’t.” Ultimately, Hawk puts his legs down, and the rest is, at first glance, history.

Obviously, there is no official word for Activision yet, so take this with a grain of salt. However, given the pair’s enduring friendship, it was not surprising that Hawkman would go to the bat for his troubled friends.

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Release July 11, 2025.
