Ludo Studio’s Bluey is one of the international Emmy Award nominees of the year, five years after receiving the International Emmy Kids Award for the Best Preschool program.
Popular Blue Healer Puppy and Co are against the Children’s titles from Singapore, Brazil and Finland, which will be held in New York City on Monday, November 24th. Ludo previously won an International Emmy Award for #7 Dayslater and Doodles.
Overall, 64 candidates from 26 countries challenge 16 categories, with British production leading the field with 12 nods. All candidates will be convened for the International Emmy World Television Festival prior to the event being held from November 21st to 23rd.
International Academy President and CEO Bruce L. Paisner said the scope of this year’s nominations is evidence of the high standards taking place around the world.
“As international Emmy continues to recognize the best on television, the creativity and caliber of this year’s candidates reflects the global strength of our industry from a record 26 countries,” he said.
“New York City will once again serve as a global stage this November, celebrating their incredible achievements.”
It comes as Ludo Studio continues working on Bluey: The Movie. WaltDisney Studios announced earlier this month that it had its premiere in Australia on August 5th, 2027. Written and directed by BlueyCreator Joe Brumm and produced in collaboration with BBC Studios.
