Ludo Studio’s all-conquering Cattle Dog family have become Australia’s newest Rose d’Or winners, with Bluey taking home the Children’s and Youth category at this week’s ceremony in London.
The animated series beat out competition from Italy, the UK, Norway and the Netherlands, adding another international honor to a collection that has already won a BAFTA and an International Emmy Award.
The show concludes a big year for Blue Heeler, Mama Chili, Papa Bandit, and little sister Bingo, who went on their longest adventure ever in the 28-minute special “The Sign.”

“The Sign” has amassed 10.4 million views worldwide on Disney+ in its first seven days of streaming, according to data from Disney+, which streams episodes in all territories except Australia, New Zealand and China. , Bluey is consistently in the top five series. Disney+ by monthly viewership.
In September, the ABC/BBC Studios series, created and written by Joe Blum, was watched for 35 billion minutes, making it the most-watched program in the U.S. in 2024, according to data from Nielsen Media Research. He was crowned.

In congratulating this year’s winners, Rose d’Or Committee Chair Mark Rowland noted the strength of this year’s nominees in each category.
