Sony Pictures Television expanded its content deal with Binge’s other Australian streamer after announcing its partnership renewal with Stan last week.
The deal includes New England releases, women, dear England and other sisters of Bennett. Community, Nanny, Dawson Creek, I’m Jeanie’s dream, charmed, married… Full season of classic TV series and sitcoms, including, with my kids, shot me like crazy with you, just shot me. Drama series The Big C, The Shield, Justification, Damages, Hannibal, Good Doctor, Mercedes. Movies include Spider-Man and the Ghostbusters franchises, White House Down, Big Daddy and Talladega night: Ricky Bobby’s Ballad.
There will also be Mr. Roberman from the Buffta Awards series, starring Lenny James, which premiered on June 4th.
Foxtel, Kayo Sports and Binge CEO Hilary Perchard said the agreement also extends to Foxtel, strengthening the company’s commitment to providing world-class entertainment and value to subscribers.
“British dramas are fuss and very popular,” she said.
“The deal is based on a more than 20 years of relationship with Sony Pictures TV, offering the first luxury and premium British dramas and hundreds of hours of US Five Light TV series and films.”
Sony Pictures Apac Svp of Distribution Adam Herr said he was pleased to build on his two-year relationship with Sony Pictures Television’s Foxtel group.
“We are delighted that they continue to be home to some of the most beloved films and television series of Sony photos that attract and entertain Australian audiences,” he said.
