AYANEO took the lid off AYANEO 3’s killer feature overnight. It will feature a new Magic module that allows you to replace both the analog stick/D-pad component and the right-hand control.
So far, six different components have been revealed, ranging from a standard D-pad/analog stick combo, an 8-way D-pad/analog stick combo, and a trackpad/split D-pad combo. On the right side, you’ll find a six-button layout, a separate trackpad, and the option of a standard analog stick/four-button combo.
The components appear to be easily interchangeable via magnets, and it should also be possible to easily rotate the components for those who prefer their analog sticks to be symmetrical, or for those who want the D-pad to be in a different position.
We’ll have more on AYANEO 3 tomorrow, but we know it will be powered by the new AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 or Ryzen 7 8840U APU, depending on your preference, and will come in white and black. There are also both OLED and LCD options.
