Aussie Melissa George will play the suburban mother who was accidentally drawn under criminals in a new Crime Dramedi Set to begin production in New Zealand for Warner Bros Discovery TV3 next month. Following the deadline, Mr. X is focusing on women who work with friends from high school to scare their unfair husbands and scare them of being loyal. But when things become (mistakefully) murderous, she gets caught up in between a police officer, a cartel, and a vicious PTA. Hannah Marshall and David De Lautour created the series. It is produced with photos from Plus6Four and South Pacific…
Drifter, a Melbourne-developed point-and-click adventure game inspired by Australian exploitation films of the ’70s, has also been covered at several expositions, including the latest PAX AU, and was confirmed for PC release on July 17th. It was a gloomy, shady world proposed by local developer PowerHoof, and I felt that “all gas, no brakes” was the best approach to a pulp-inspired point-and-click adventure. After sampling a demo of the game available on Steam ahead of the game’s participation at the next fest in June, the atmosphere is choking and there’s little time to think. “Lucky” trailer: Keanu Reeves is the angel of feature director with Seth Rogen of Aziz Ansari
Keanu Reeves stepped into something a little more… sacred, away from headshots and hit lists. The official teaser trailer arrived for good luck, a comedy directed and written by Aziz Ansari. And yes, it includes Reeves as an angel, the hopelessly troublesome thing of goodwill. Please see the teaser above for more information. Luckily, Reeves plays Gabriel – a heavenly being tired of his basic mission. “Is there a way to be more meaningful obligation?” he asks in the trailer. “I want to guide people, I want to change their lives,” Sandra Oh plays her fellow Angel Martha, giving her…

This time, the Emmy-nominated actors, Kingsman and Rocketman, play arson investigator Dave Gussen, who trades prison bars for burnt-out buildings and reluctantly chases them in a twisted pursuit across the burnt-down streetscape. Broadly based on a true event, and inspired by the Firebug Podcast hosted by Kary Antholis, Smoke follows Gudsen to work…
