Australia’s Nine Network has become the latest buyer of We Will Dance Again, Israel’s powerful documentary about the Nova Music Festival.
The channel will air the award-winning feature-length documentary on October 7, the one-year anniversary of the tragedy.
Commissioned by Bad Boys Studio Sipur shortly after October 7, We Will Dance Again tells the stories of more than a dozen survivors in their own words. This documentary combines their exclusive video footage with footage from the perpetrators themselves and surveillance cameras to tell the story of innocent young men forced to fight for survival in the breathtaking intensity of real time. I’m telling you.
We Will Dance Again has already been sold to British co-production company BBC Storyville and Israel’s HOT Channel 8. Fulwell 73 label Bitachon 365 and MGM Television also joined the doc in March.
Distributor Osmosis Global has signed a contract with Nine. Boss Chris Grant said: “We’re seeing tremendous momentum for this hugely important documentary from broadcasters and streamers around the world.” He said more sales are expected soon.
The film is directed by award-winning director Yariv Moser, who last collaborated with Shipour on MGM Television on “The Devil’s Confessions: The Lost Eichmann Tapes.”
Sipur will be executive produced by Emilio Schenker, Michael Peter Schmidt and Gideon Tadmor. Bitachon 365 includes Sheldon Lazarus, Ben Winston, Leo Perlman, Ben Turner, and Gabe Turner. HSCC’s Dali Hsieh, Linert Klein, Chaim Slutsky, and Dorit Hessel; Lucy Conn of BBC Storyville. Arturo Interian. Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong of See It Now Studios.
