Starting in 2025, WWE fans in Australia will have to switch to Netflix to access RAW, SmackDown, and NXT. Learn more about migration here.
From January 2025 onwards, Foxtel and Binge viewers in Australia will need to subscribe to Netflix to continue watching popular WWE shows like SmackDown, RAW and NXT every week.
According to a report from PWInsider, this change will give Australian viewers exclusive access to premium content from WWE on Netflix.

A timeline for moving WWE’s premium live events, including Royal Rumble and WrestleMania, to Netflix has not yet been confirmed, but it is expected to move as early as early 2025. Foxtel has been approached for comment.
The change comes after Netflix signed a major global deal with WWE parent company TKO Group earlier this year. The deal, worth a total of $5 billion, gives Netflix exclusive rights to WWE’s flagship programming and events across several major markets, including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom and Latin America, beginning in January 2025.
In a statement released by TKO Group earlier this year, it was confirmed that Netflix would be releasing “Raw and WWE’s other weekly programming (SmackDown and NXT), as well as the company’s premium live events.” “countries and territories” would be integrated into this agreement.
The move means Foxtel Group’s current partnership with WWE, established under a “multi-year agreement”, will expire in 2022. The WWE Channel, which currently airs on Foxtel, is scheduled to cease operations by early 2025.
This brings to an end a significant period in which Foxtel served as the primary platform for WWE content in Australia.
