Serbia and Australia battled it out in the Olympic quarterfinals, with Nikola Jokic leading his country to a thrilling 95-90 overtime victory.
After falling behind by as many as 24 points, Serbia roared back into contention behind the three-time NBA MVP, clinching a ticket to the next round and setting up a date with the winner of Brazil vs. America.
Jokic had a nearly triple-double with 21 points, 14 rebounds and eight assists. The Boomers were led by Patty Mills and Josh Giddy, who combined to score 51 of Australia’s 90 points.
