Kojo CEO Dale Roberts has rejoined the Ausfilm board, with Studio Blackbird managing director Nerissa Kavanagh being re-elected.
Both will serve three years of office. Roberts previously worked from 2021 to 2024.
Ausfilm Chair Samantha Martin-Williams said she was pleased with their appointment.
“Both bring many sector experiences and provide invaluable and rich insights to the board and membership,” she said.
“The unique composition of the AUSFILM board is essential for government and businesses to work together to support their members, and the wider industry is advocating for the Australian screen ecosystem.”
“I’m passionate about our industry and I’m passionate about ensuring a thriving private sector as I navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead, and I’m particularly dedicated to representing post-production and VFX studios and being the voice of the strategies and policies that set us up for success.”
With her re-election, Kabana said she appreciated the continued support from her membership.
“I am proud to represent our diverse and talented members at the board level and look forward to contributing to AusFilm’s continued success.”
