My Arcade has announced a number of new Atari products that will interest retro gamers, offering unique twists on classic consoles.
The Atari Gamestation Go is a 7-inch handheld with over 200 games built-in. It also has integrated paddles, a trackball, and a number pad, as well as the usual controls you’d expect to find on a modern handheld.
Games include Centipede: Recharged, Balls of Steel Pinball, Berzerk, Frenzy, PAC-MAN, and popular Atari hits such as Asteroids, Breakout, Missile Command, Pong (Video Olympics), Tempest, Warlords .
It will be available in Q3 for US$149.99 (approximately AU$250). I got a hands-on look at it at CES and it’s shaping up to be great.
The Atari GameStation Mega was also announced. This is a tabletop arcade cabinet with wooden construction and a large 10.1-inch display. It also includes all the controls you need to play all the iconic Atari games. This will retail for $249.99 (approximately AU$400).
You can also purchase an Atari Gamestation gamepad and an arcade stick that is compatible with both products.
