Anonymous Content has partnered with Boy Swallows Universe production company Brohaha Entertainment in a new joint venture in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the agreement, Brouhaha will work closely with AC Studios to develop and produce premium film and television projects. The first project to come out of the joint venture is a TV script written by Australian writer and director Craig Rosenberg, who is also the showrunner of the hit show “Based on a True Story,” starring Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina. This partnership is the latest international joint venture as Anonymous Content continues to build partnerships with local producers and companies in key regions around the world. As part of its strategy to strengthen its global reach, the group launched Anonymous Content Brasil, Anonymous Content España, France-based Anonymous Federation, Anonymous Content Nordic and UK-based AC Chapter One .
David Davoli, Anonymous Content’s President of International, will oversee the venture along with Brohaha Entertainment’s Troy Lamb, Andrew Mason and Gabriel Tana.
“Given the recent success we had with Brouhaha in producing Boy Swallows Universe, it made sense to explore a larger partnership with Troy and the Brouhaha team,” Davoli said, adding, “With Australia and “New Zealand has great artists and world-class incentives,” he added. ”
“With global streamers prioritizing this region, we felt the opportunity to bring Troy and Broha on board as part of our international joint venture portfolio was the right time at this time,” Davoli continued.
Meanwhile, Mr Lam said: “Brohaha is deeply connected to its roots and believes there is untapped potential here in Australia and New Zealand, with an excellent resource and talent base.”

AC International previously collaborated with Brouhaha Entertainment on ‘Boy Swallows Universe’. Other recent AC International credits include Best Interests, produced by British standard-bearer AC Chapter One. Upcoming projects include “Snow Sister” via Anonymous Content Nordic, “Perfect Days” via Anonymous Content Nordic and a documentary series about Brazilian soccer player Socrates directed by Walter Salles.
