Analogue has announced its latest system. It’s Analogue 3D, the console that will bring the Nintendo 64 to life in 2024.
This does not emulate, but rather plays the original cart and upscales it to 4K (1x the original 64 resolution). It’s region-free and features Bluetooth LE, dual-band Wi-Fi, four original controller ports, and a new operating system that enables state saving, screenshots, and all the great new features. There are also different display modes that can mimic the console’s original look if you wish.
To go along with Analogue 3D, the company also partnered with 8BitDo to create the wireless 8BitDo 64 controller with a six-button design. It has an all-effects joystick, vibrates, and also works with Nintendo Switch, Windows, and Android.
Both of these products come in black and white and will be available for pre-order from October 22nd at 2am (AEDT) before shipping in Q1 2025. Analogue 3D is priced at USD 249.99 (~AU$374) and 8BitDo 64 Controller is priced at USD 39.99 (~AU$59). You can pre-order here.
