AMC has dropped the official teaser trailer for Talamasca: The Secret Order. This is the next series in Unreis’s expanding, immortal universe. The first look that was first revealed in San Diego’s comic scam sets a darker, glove-straddled story tone, focusing on what’s tasked with seeing what’s bumped into the night. The trailer above and the details below.
A new recruit step into the shadows
At the heart of the series is Guyanatol (Nicolas Denton), a young man newly adopted by Talamasca. Elizabeth McGovern’s Helen offers an ominous introduction, revealing that this is not heroic attire, but is bound by strict rules of observation.
Things escalate quickly. The trailer jumps between the turbulent flashes. A vampire case file, a witch-woman, a quiet figure lurking in the streets of the city. Guy is warned not to trust the very organization that brought him, as questions are spreading about what Talamasca actually does to keep things “organized.”
It is linked to the immortal universe
The final seconds of the trailer feature cameos from an interview with vampire Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian), hinting at a more direct crossover connection with AMC’s other US adaptations.
And it’s hard not to wonder who else will intervene, as the show’s premises are deeply intertwined with vampires and witches. Can Jacob Anderson’s Louis or Sam Reid’s Restat cross orders? Could Alexandra Daddario’s Rowan Fielding from the Mayfair Witch find herself on her radar?
Cast, crew, release
The cast includes William Fickner, Maisie Richardson Seller, Celine Buckens and Jason Schwartzman, with Blindside’s John Lee Hancock serving as co-showrunner alongside Mark Lafferty. Schwartzman appears as an isolated vampire, and Buckens depicts a witch bound by a mysterious covenant.
release date
Talamasca: Secret Order will premiere October 26th at AMC and AMC+.
