London-based independent distributor All3Media International has appointed Micah Hewson to the newly created roles of VP Sales Australia and New Zealand.
After working for 25 years on television, Hewson is the director of commercial development at ITV Studios Australia. Previously he was executive producer and development lead for Endemol Shine/Southern Star.
In his new role on All3Media, he reports to EVP Asia Pacific Sabrina Duguet and SVP Anz Julie Dowding.
His missions include negotiating broadcast and digital rights trading for a multi-genre portfolio of All3Media International’s completed series and formats, as well as optimizing window and reranging strategies.
All3Media’s catalog includes the Mid-Semer Murder of the UK’s top-selling drama, assassin featuring Gillian Anderson, led by Gemma Alatent, who returns with all creatures, big and small, and secret services.
That form of slate includes traitors, races from around the world, jargon and cash cabs, while the scripted form includes Liar, who is entrusted across 15 territories, as well as informants, cheats, queers, folks, layads and stepdaves.
The documentary includes a trial of Michael Jackson, becoming a Madonna, Parent-Child Relations, David Attenborough: Ocean, the body next to him, and the man who played in the fire.
“This is a pivotal time in the content landscape, and All3Media International has world-class catalogue and lead ambitions,” Hughson said.
