The Kids IP Incubator project includes a bespoke program of webinars and masterclasses from leading international content strategists, analysts and marketplace experts, as well as collaborative workshops and individual one-on-one mentorship.
Once this initiative concludes, the eight creative teams will be able to apply for further development or production funding to continue their projects.
ACTF CEO Jenny Buckland said: “We ignore the digital platforms that our children are drawn to our peril, but success in these areas requires a different mindset.
“What I love about this partnership with Screen Australia is that it encourages the teams involved to experiment in a collaborative environment, where everyone learns and builds each other up, whether new players or experienced players. In addition to supporting innovative new content from top players, we believe this initiative will impact us and the way we support content in the future.”
