ABC has a green light second season of the animated children’s program and hasn’t seen this show. There will be a new episode next year that will land on the station.
This book, adapted from Andy Lee’s book series, will not open this book. The series focuses on Wizz, who refuses to accept that he is a TV star and refuses that the kids are desperate to turn it off. Lee voices, Wiz goes to hilarious lengths to stop the audience. It makes him more attractive.
The first season premiered on ABC IView in July, with the opening episode averaged over 2.5 million, and the series reached 115 million minutes on the platform in three months, making it the biggest launch of a new child and family show in ABC Iview history.
Lee will return to write a new season with Jason Marion and Ray Massen, but will produce with Greg Sic. The first season producer, Patrick Crawley, is produced by Nick Campbell and Victorian illustrator Heath Mackenzie returns as designer and steps into the director’s chair. The creative team at Lee Bones Productions is concluded by ABC Commissioning Editor Mick Elliott and acting director for child Mary Ellen Murane.
The series is supported by major production funds from Screen Australia and is funded in conjunction with Vicscreen.
Lee said he was “overwhelmed and absolutely ec bones” to hear many families tune and enjoy themselves and not watching this show.
“You can interpret us as having a country of disobedient children, which is very surprising, but I like to think it’s a victory for the cheeky Rascal everywhere,” he said.
“Take on, you’re a little rat bag. Keep having fun and laughing for season 2.”
ABC screen director Jennifer Collins said it was evidence of the Leebones team, and that the series connected so strongly with Australian families that it quickly became a home favorite.
“We are proud to be home to high quality family programming at ABC. We can’t wait to see what’s available for Wiz and his friends in Season 2.”
