ABC, BBC Studios, Endemol Shine, Eureka, ITV Studios Australia, WildBear and SBS are joining this year’s AFTRS graduate program, offering 13-week paid internships to 10 graduates of the school’s Bachelor of Arts Screen: Production course .
This year’s members include Riti Ramanujachari (ABC Children and Families), Casey McCosh (ABC Fact), Apoor Jaiwal (BBC Studios – Unscripted), Jonathan Chan (BBC Studios – Scripted), Ella Richards (Endemol Shine Australia) and Belinda Tyldesley (Eureka). They follow in the footsteps of graduates who find employment immediately after completing their internships. Among the 2023 participants, Nicole Hutton (Child Development Internship at ABC) is working as a Scripted Development Coordinator at Blackfella Films, and Kristen Settinelli (Unscripted Development/Production Internship at BBC Studios) is working as a Scripted Development Coordinator at Blackfella Films. Working as a Production Coordinator at Sound, Mia Tikeris (Production Internship at Endemol Shine Australia) continues to work as a Production Assistant at Endemol, Ashwini works at Kangataran (SBS Production Internship) works as a production assistant at Mint Pictures.
AFTRS CEO Nell Greenwood said the program is an effective partnership between AFTRS and industry.
