A Reddit user has discovered a showreel from an animator who has worked at Rockstar Games several times, which apparently includes animation for the upcoming Grand Theft Auto 6.
The video is currently offline, but is featured below (or here) and features two scenes that appear to be from Grand Theft Auto 6. The first video shows in detail how a character retrieves a bike from a rental stand and places it back on the stand. This is very important because in addition to watching animations, you will also be able to see rental bicycles in Grand Theft Auto 6.
The second video shows a female character (presumably protagonist Lucia) getting out of a pickup truck and moving around it in great detail, also showcasing some seemingly impressive animation.
Other showreels include cuts from Red Dead Redemption 2, Max Payne 3, and Grand Theft Auto 5.
“Grand Theft Auto 6” is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, and Rockstar said, “While we need additional time to recognize the long wait, we believe these extra months will allow us to deliver the level of polish you have come to expect and deserve.”
