Grand Theft Auto Trilogy: Definitive Edition has had a strange and checkered release schedule for console and PC versions, but it was released for mobile on Netflix last year, and in that release, the console version Lighting and other gameplay improvements were made that were not available in the previous version. .
Rockstar has released an update to the game for consoles that significantly improves the visuals, as well as a number of other fixes. This includes a new Classic Lighting mode that can be toggled on, but there are also a ton of other improvements that fans are noticing that haven’t been officially detailed yet.

Rain, fire, and fog visual effects have all been improved, and the game’s animations have also been completely revised, including when running with a gun. There are also a number of other small fixes, including the ability to display your in-game location. World map.
Rockstar hasn’t detailed these changes yet, but the images/videos below show how different the classic lighting modes are, giving them a look from the original game rather than the one originally presented. I totally get it.
I can’t believe I’m saying this, but with the new Classic Lightning and GTA Trilogy DE patch

GTA DE A new patch has finally fixed the previously very broken aiming animations for all guns in GTA 3 and VC DE. This is the best fix for me so far.
