New Zealand’s Sky Network Television and Paramount Global Content Distribution have announced an exclusive content partnership, securing Showtime, Paramount+ and CBS series to Sky and its streaming service Neon.
The deal includes titles such as Yellowstone spinoff Y: Marshals and Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming projects Madison and Dutton Ranch, as well as Yellowjackets, Dexter (including Dexter: Resurrection), FBI, CIA, Boston Blue, The Agency: Central Intelligence, Girl Taken, Billions, Ray Donovan and Twin Peaks.
Sky chief executive Sophie Moloney said: “This is a far-reaching deal and represents a significant step forward in our entertainment strategy. We know what our customers are watching and use those insights to curate the content that will resonate most with them.”
“Paramount’s Yellowstone has been a standout for Sky customers for 25 years and this new deal ensures we can build on that success by securing our most important programming. With thousands of hours of premium drama, comedy and iconic franchises, this partnership strengthens Sky as the home of world-class entertainment in New Zealand.”
Paramount’s president of international and global content distribution, Kevin McClellan, said the partnership was a “strategic step” to ensure the New Zealand market “continued to have access to engaging and trusted content”.
