Prime Video kicks off 2026 with a jam-packed January lineup focused on returning big-name series, engaging genre thrillers, and a steady run of live NBA action. From globetrotting espionage and reality competition chaos to Korean romances and Hollywood heist dramas, the streamer is wasting no time setting the tone for next year. The complete list of releases is below. Also includes a trailer.
Leading the way this month is the long-awaited return of The Night Manager Season 2. The season begins with Jonathan Pine, played by Tom Hiddleston, being dragged back into the shadows after a chance encounter rekindles his past. This time the story shifts to Colombia, where Pine, with the help of rival Camila Morrone’s informant, infiltrates a dangerous arms operation connected to Diego Calva’s Teddy dos Santos. The season begins with a three-episode premiere, then unfolds weekly, refocusing on espionage, shifting loyalties, and high-stakes intrigue.
January also brings fresh series and star-driven movies. Season 2 of Beast Games takes things up a notch as MrBeasts compete in strength and intelligence for a $5 million prize. Meanwhile, Korean romantic comedy Spring Fever offers a gentle contrast with its small-town love story. On the film front, Sophie Turner stars in the tense office thriller “Steel,” Austin Butler stars in the offbeat crime drama “Catching Steel,” and Dave Bautista and Jason Momoa reunite on screen as brothers in the Hawaii-set action comedy “Wrecking Crew.”
Also this month, Prime Video’s live NBA schedule continues throughout January, anchoring the slate with wall-to-wall basketball alongside scripted and unscripted releases.
