Rockstar today announced that the Western epic Red Dead Redemption will finally be ported to modern consoles next month.

The game was originally released in 2010 and is coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and compatible iOS and Android mobile devices on December 2nd. In addition to the base game, the Undead Nightmare expansion was also included, and other content was included in the Game of the Year Edition.

The Nintendo Switch 2 version supports DLSS and HDR and runs at 60fps. Mouse options are also added. The PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S versions of the game support up to 4K, 60 fps resolution, enhanced image quality, and HDR support.

Players who previously purchased the game on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, or Xbox One will be entitled to a free upgrade.

“Experience these epic Western adventures on the latest mobile devices and current-gen consoles, including free upgrades, the ability to transfer your game progress, and many enhancements,” Rockstar said in a statement.
