Rockstar today announced that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed once again, canceling its May 26 release date and instead releasing on November 19, 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
The announcement was made in a very short blog post detailing that the team needed additional time to complete the game to the level of polish that players have come to expect from Rockstar Games.
“Hello everyone, Grand Theft Auto VI will be released on November 19, 2026.

Two trailers have been released for Grand Theft Auto 6 so far, and we know the story of the game is as follows.
“Jason and Lucia always knew the odds were stacked against them. But when an easy score goes awry, they find themselves on the darkest side of America’s sunniest place, in the middle of a conspiracy that stretches across the state of Leonida. They’re forced to rely on each other more than ever to survive.”
The game is known to feature Vice City, Leonida Keys, Grass Rivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia, and Mount Caraga National Park. All of this looks very interesting and unique compared to other places in the game.
