Stan has released the official trailer for the fourth and final season of Bel Air, teasing the end of the dramatic reimagining that turned one of TV’s most beloved sitcoms into a modern family story. The series will conclude with an eight-episode run starting November 25 on Stan in Australia and November 24 on Peacock in the US. Trailer above, information below.
Saying goodbye to the modern Bel Air
A new trailer confirms that Bel Air’s final season will be a grounded, character-driven drama that wraps up the threads of the show’s three-year evolution and explores identity, family, and ambition through the eyes of Will (Jabari Banks). As their senior year approaches, Will and his cousin Carlton (Oly Cholotan) face different futures and familiar pressures, while Uncle Phil (Adrian Holmes) and Aunt Viv (Cassandra Freeman) each face major life transitions. The trailer suggests more reflection and calculation than shock value, a measured finale to a series that finds its rhythm in emotional stakes rather than nostalgia.
Fresh faces join the farewell party
Season 4 brings some notable additions to Banks’ world. Tyra Banks appears as Viv’s charismatic former college classmate, rekindling old tensions and unresolved conversations. This is a beautiful full-circle moment. Banks previously appeared on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air in 1993 as Jackie Ames, Will’s ex-girlfriend from Philadelphia, first appearing on September 20, 1993 and appearing in eight episodes throughout season four.
Original Fresh Prince star Janet Hubert also joins the cast as a wise woman who becomes an important guide for Hilary (Coco Jones). And, as glimpsed in the trailer, Snoop Dogg will also appear, although his role, whether it’s himself or a fictional character, remains a secret.
traditional and creative team
Inspired by Morgan Cooper’s viral 2019 trailer that reinterpreted The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air as a gritty drama, Bel-Air has developed its own identity over four seasons. Showrunner Carla Banks Waddles will return for the finale, with Cooper directing the final two episodes. The series is produced by Universal Television and Westbrook Studios, the company founded by Jada Pinkett Smith and Will Smith, who also serves as executive producer along with Quincy Jones, Benny Medina, and original show creators Andy and Susan Borowitz.
release date
In the United States, the fourth and final season of Bel Air will premiere on Peacock on Monday, November 24th, and will premiere in three episodes. Two more will arrive on December 1st and the final three on December 8th. In Australia, season 4 will premiere on Stan on November 25th.
