Disney+ has released the official trailer for “A Very Jonas Christmas Movie,” in which Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas play elated versions of themselves in the holiday spirit. Watch the trailer above and read the information below.
premise
Stranded in London a few days before Christmas, the brothers make a mad dash for New York, only to end up in Amsterdam when their plane is hit by lightning and their Paris-bound train takes the wrong route. And their last attempt to fly the plane themselves ended in a crash landing and an encounter with a wolf.
The trailer also explores some of Joe’s personal topics, with him telling Lucy (Chloe Bennet) that they “met by chance” and “we had a connection,” and Kevin asks, “How many connections have you made this month?” And Nick quipped, “Joe doesn’t count that much.” There are also some meta jokes. When Kevin declares, “You can’t miss Christmas,” Nick counters, “No one can afford to miss Christmas. Have you ever seen a Christmas movie? That’s the whole story of the movie.”
Cast and cameo appearances
In addition to Kevin, Joe, and Nick, the film also stars Chloe Bennet, Billie Lourd, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa, Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea Martin, Randall Park, and Jesse Tyler Ferguson. Kenny G and Justin Tranter appear as themselves. Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Daniel Jonas make a cameo appearance via video call.

The film is directed by Jessica Yu, who previously starred in Quiz Lady, which was released on Hulu in 2023. Yu has also had a prolific career in television, directing episodes of Only Murders in the Building, American Horror Story, 13 Reasons Why, Phos, The Case, and Grey’s Anatomy. Yu won the Academy Award for Best Short Documentary in 1997 for Breathing Lessons: The Life and Works of Mark O’Brien.
