WIFT Australia will support a delegation of members attending this year’s Content London TV and Film Market in December.
The Content London Catalyst program, open to current or renewing WIFT Australia members only, will provide up to four early-mid-career producers with complimentary travel, tailored mentorship and market preparation for their event ahead of their departure on 29 November.
During their stay, they will receive daily on-site consultations and briefings to maximize international engagement and outcomes.
Industry consultant Julia Short has over 25 years of experience in production, distribution, marketing and training and will provide participants with one-on-one project support and guidance, including individual strategy sessions, pitch feedback, and pre-departure planning.
Short has previously served as content director for the Inside Pictures programme, course director for the Danish Film School’s Directing Development Program for Global Stages, course director for Screen Scotland’s two-year producer initiative Film Fast Track, and training for the British Film Distributors Association.
As a consultant, she works closely with producers from the early stages of development through to international release, most recently on Imran Peretta’s ISH, which premiered at the 2025 Venice Film Festival.
Leading the delegation, WIFT Australia chair Leanne Tonks said the program was designed to “build long-term international connections and confidence to navigate global markets”.
“This initiative aims to provide access and visibility for emerging Australian producers, particularly women and gender diverse creators, in one of the world’s most important content markets,” she said.
Applications close at 5pm (AEST) on November 3rd and the final delegate will be announced on November 7th.
A webinar will be held next week outlining the program details, benefits, and application process. Content London will run from 1st to 4th December.
