After releasing CJZ’s Jimmy Barnes: A Working Class Man this year, the Seven Network is set to welcome a new documentary about Australia’s celebrated musician.

Produced by Helium Pictures, Tina Arena: Unravel Me is described as an “intimate and cinematic look at one of Australia’s most enduring and enigmatic artists” and “traces back five decades of fame, revealing the dualities that defined her life and new and previously untold revelations”.

The documentary, which features candid new interviews, rare archives and appearances from friends, family and collaborators including Katy Perry, Celine Dion and Lionel Richie, was one of the new titles announced at the broadcaster’s upfront at Royal Randwick today.

This isn’t the first time Seven has spotlighted the singer’s life, having made her the subject of a special episode of This Is Your Life in 2022.

The project is part of a 2026 entertainment line-up that also includes comedy formats from Molloy Boy Productions, featuring Mick Molloy and Glenn Robbins, as well as guest appearances from the two comedian friends. No further details regarding the series have been revealed.

Several of Seven’s titles for next year were already announced before this afternoon’s event. Caught in the Middle, a quiz series hosted by Shane Jacobson, was released earlier this month by Talpa Studios, which is produced in partnership with Eureka Productions. The format consists of a duo standing in the center of a giant LED arena, surrounded by 100 opponents. Through 15 questions, you must outsmart the crowd by choosing answers that match as many of your rivals as possible, defeating your opponents one by one before they reach the middle and winning a life-changing jackpot.

Other titles announced so far include Endemol Shine Australia’s renovation series My Reno Rules, and Happy Camel and ITV Studios Australia’s adventure title Once in a Lifetime, both directed by Chris Brown. Warner Bros. International Television Australian reality show First Dates. and “The Mental As Anything Story,” a special event documentary produced by Beyond.

Seven’s returning titles include My Kitchen Rules, Australian Idol, The 1% Club, Farmer Wants A Wife, Home and Away, Better Homes and Gardens, The Chase Australia, The Front Bar, Highway Patrol, Border Security: Australia’s Front Line, The Great Outdoors and Off The Grid With Colin and Manu. The network will also welcome new versions of the military training programs SAS: Australia and SAS: Australia vs. England, which pit seven Australian celebrities against seven British celebrities in the Moroccan desert. Produced by Minnow Films and distributed by Banijay Rights.

As of now, there is no update on what happens beyond the third season of the emergency series RFDS, which premiered this month.

At last year’s event, the network outlined a “7plus first” approach to all new international programming.

In 2026, approximately 6,000 hours of new content will be added to the streaming platform from studios around the world. The lineup includes returning titles “Ludwig,” “Doc,” “The Hunting Party” and “St. Denis Medical,” along with the new series “A Taste For Murder.” Additional seasons of Las Vegas and Law & Order (Original Series, SVU, Criminal Intent) will be added to the premium library, and the network will also welcome ITV’s Extreme Planet Earth and Operation Darkphone.

Following the release of Cricket Gold, we will expand the FAST channels available on the platform.

In terms of sport, Seven will broadcast AFL, AFL Women, Cricket (The Ashes, Big Bash League, Women’s Big Bash League, Women’s International), Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games, Horse Racing (various) and the Supercars Championship, including the Bathurst 1000.

At the launch, Seven West Media Managing Director and CEO Jeff Howard highlighted Seven’s momentum heading into the new year.

“This year, we were particularly focused on driving growth across 7plus and delivering a consistent service to our viewers and commercial partners,” he said.

“We’re doubling down on content that helps brands meet audiences wherever they are, and of course delivers results. Our focus in 2026 is growth, partnerships and performance. We deliver on all three.”
