Former Nine Entertainment chief marketing officer Rianna Dubois has been appointed as Entertainment Partners’ managing director for Australia and New Zealand, replacing Jane Corden, who is retiring at the end of this year.

Dubois brings 25 years of experience in media and entertainment to the global company specializing in production finance, management and payroll solutions.

At Nine, we have developed an integrated creative and commercial strategy that brings together 19 different brands into a coherent ecosystem, brings emerging technologies including AI into marketing and operations, and strengthens audience engagement and advertiser partnerships across broadcast, streaming and digital platforms. Beyond her corporate career, she holds advisory and board roles for organizations focused on inclusion, community impact and media excellence, including Women in Media Australia and Inclusively Made.

“Rianna’s appointment reflects Entertainment Partners’ long-term commitment to the Australian and New Zealand production communities,” Entertainment Partners President and CEO Markham L. Goldstein said.

“She has an outstanding track record of creative and commercial leadership, and as Australia and New Zealand continue to grow as global manufacturing hubs, Liana’s leadership and deep industry experience positions us perfectly to serve our clients and partners in even greater ways.”

Dubois said he is honored to join the company at a pivotal time for the industry, noting that the region is becoming a center of global production.

“I was drawn to EP because of its people-first culture and commitment to innovation, helping productions run smarter, more efficiently and more inclusively. I’m excited to build on the strong foundation that Jane and the team have laid and work with our clients and partners to shape the next chapter of growth for the region,” she said.

Mr. Corden and Mr. Dubois will work together through the transition period. Corden was recently named NSW Film Pioneer of the Year in recognition of his decades-long contribution to Australian film.

Corden, originally from Scotland, joined Moneypenny in 1986 to work on A Fortunate Life. She quickly rose through the ranks and continued to lead the company after Penny Carle resigned in 1988. During her tenure as Moneypenny CEO, she pioneered the transition to digital accounting tools and expanded the business into South Africa and the UK. In 2022, Moneypenny was acquired by Entertainment Partners.
