The official trailer arrived for We Bury The Dead, an Australian US zombie horror thriller led by Daisy Ridley, to counter the devastated Tasmanian landscape. Check out the trailer above and read the essentials.
After a catastrophic military disaster, the Australian island of Tasmania is covered with remains. Ava (Ridley) signs up with a volunteer recovery unit, heads south across the island to identify the dead and finds her missing husband. The work turns into a gauntlet: Risen is fast, hungry, and organized enough to make his recovery work a suicide mission.
The film comes from Australian writer-director Zach Hilditch. He previously streamed the drama of the last day in these final hours and Stephen King Adaptation on Netflix in 1922.
The early words have grown stronger from the festival’s execution. At the time of writing, I’m sitting at 89% with rotten tomatoes.
