One of Gamescom’s biggest gaming events is back to us. Over the next four days, game studios and hardware manufacturers will make major announcements, world premieres and project updates.
The opening night started at 4am Aest this morning, bringing in lots of new games and updates from existing projects. You can see each of the major announcements below:
Sekiro: There’s no defeat
Crunchyroll revealed their first look of Sekiro: Shadows Die Die Twice Anime. This show is set to expand the events of the game
Onimusha: The Road of Swords
A new trailer for upcoming action RPGs has been introduced. In this beautiful game you can fight monsters in the Underworld. The game will start in 2026.
Vampire: Masquerade – Bloodline 2
After years of commitment, we finally got the release date for the highly anticipated title. The game will be released on October 21st, 2025.
Lamb Wool Heaven DLC Cult
Massive Monster has released a brand new trailer for the arrival of DLC Woolhaven, who will be taking part in the game in early 2026.
Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 4
Fans of the series will be excited for the next chapter in the Warhammer series. The film’s trailer showed off the Blood Marines on their journey to restore peace to the galaxy. The game will be released on PC in 2026.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 7
We have confirmed that the campaign was released on November 14th and that the game was released on November 14th this year.
The fallen lord 2
Developer CI Game Game is our first look with an announcement trailer to a magical world filled with monsters. The game will be released in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/s and PC.
LEGO Batman: The Legacy of the Dark Knight
Warner Bros. Games has confirmed the upcoming LEGO Game Legacy of the Dark Knight. An open world game set in Gotham that incorporates storylines from movies, comics, TV shows and animated films. With Matt Berry’s Voicing Bain, expectations for this game are very high.
Monster Hunter Wild & Final Fantasy 14 Crossover
Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Wild and Final Fantasy 14 will get Sekillet Mount as Chocobo will be a companion to Wild’s ride. The video was not displayed, but the content will be released in September 2025.
Fallout Season 2 Teaser Trailer
The cast of Fallout took to the stage to showcase the look of the first teaser trailer in season 2 of Fallout. Heading to New Vegas, the upcoming season will feature Justin Theroux as Mr. House.
Indiana Jones and the Big Circle are on Switch 2
In news that no one saw, Bethesda will release a massive circle of highly acclaimed games Indiana Jones and Switch 2 in 2026. It’s extremely exciting to see such a top tier game ported to a new console.
Longilbert’s death by scrolling
Longilbert, who has bought games like Monkey Island, Maniac Mansion and Thimble Weed Park, is working on his next title. Death by scrolling is a cheating that makes RPGs have no release dates, but the footage from this announcement gave us a closer look at this new genre of gaming giants.
Silent Hill f
The upcoming trailer for this title was as frightening as one would expect. This game will be released on September 25th, 2025.
Resident Evil Requiem
The trailer introduced the main character, Grace Ashcroft. Although not much was shown, we saw young grace and her mother escape from the monster.
Black Myth: Zhong Kui announced
The big finish was the announcement of a sequel to Black Mythological Turmeric. There is no release date yet, but this footage shows the team is working hard in the next article.
