Leicester’s death triggers new investigations
Doerman Leicester, a building fixture for years, was found dead in a courtyard fountain he once called “lucky.” Charles, Oliver, and Mabel refuse to accept it as mere misfortune, causing investigations that draw them into the hidden corners of the city. What they are revealing is linking New York’s wealthy elites, established gangs, and some of the most protected inhabitants of Arconia.
This season also looks more broadly at cities in transition. They are always New York, slowly giving way to a more risky, more unpredictable version.
Season 5 star-studded cast
Alongside the core trio, cast member Michael Cyril Clayton is home to guest stars Meryl Streep, Davin Joy Randolph, Richard Kind, Nathan Lane, Bobby Cannavare, Renesel Weger, Logan Lerman, Christoph Waltz, Thea Leoni, Keegan Michael Kie, Beanie Feldstein, Beanie Feldstein and Dderne Leoni Sofia, married to Brooklyn’s “Dry Cleaning King,” but arrives with a connection to the mystery.
The series was created by Steve Martin and John Hoffman, with Martin Short, Selena Gomez, Dan Fogelman, Jess Rosenthal, Ben Smith and JJ Philbin also taking part as executive producers. It is produced by the 20th TV, part of the Disney TV Studio.
When to see
Only the murders in Building Season 5 premiered in three episodes on September 9th, followed by new episodes each week on Disney+ and Hulu.
