It’s been about a year now, but Netflix is raising prices again in Australia. As of today, prices are rising anywhere from 2-3 dollars a month, depending on the plan you are in.
The standard ADS plan currently costs $9.99 a month (up from $7.99 a month), with the standard plan priced at $20.99 a month (up from $18.99 a month), and the premium plan priced at $28.99 a month (up from $25.99 a month).
New Netflix Prices
Standard with Advertising – $9.99 per month (an increase of $2 a month) Standard – $20.99 per month (an increase of $2 a month) Premium – $28.99 per month (an increase of $3 a month)
In comparison, Netflix is now the most expensive streaming service, especially with premium ends, compared to Stan, Disney Plus, HBO Max, Binge and more.
As always, the standard app plan gets two streams at 1080p (with ads), while the Standard gets two streams with two offline downloads and a paid extra member.
There was no specific reason given to price increases, but it’s not too surprising given that almost all streaming services have risen these days.
