Nintendo says it’s likely that it will happen, and it has been delivered and raised the price of the original Nintendo Switch console.
The new price for the Nintendo Switch OLED has increased from USD 350 to USD 400 (617 AUD). The original switch is $340 (525 AUD), an increase of $40, while the switchlite is $230 (355 AUD), an increase of $30.
All accessories across the Nintendo Switch product line have won price increases of USD 5-10 (and most of them have also experienced price increases before launch).
It is unclear whether the Nintendo Switch 2 will receive price increases in the US, but this seems highly inevitable that this applies as the Nintendo Switch OLED costs only 50 USD more than the Nintendo Switch 2. It is also unclear whether this will affect other regions as Nintendo is trying to combat tariffs on the US.
