Keanu Reeves has a small one in the official trailer that arrived for good fortune, Aziz Ansari’s upcoming comedy. Check out the trailer above and read the chaos of heaven above.
Guardian Angel, but I’ll use that as a budget
Reeves stars as Gabriel. Gabriel is a well-meaning but slightly qualified guardian angel, whose sacred work usually involves stopping people from texting while driving. However, when Gabriel crosses a pass with Arj (played by Ansari), a burnt-out gig worker with vy hopes and big dreams, he decides it’s time to level up the miracle game.
The solution he came up with: a totally freaky Friday exchange between Arj and Jeff (Seth Rogen), high-tech with a mansion lit up by wealth, status and disco. Gabriel hopes this experiment will help Arj understand his life and realize that money cannot rival happiness. One small problem: Arj loves being rich. Jeff, on the other hand, hates being poor. Lessons…I haven’t learned it.
God’s intervention fulfills the LA lifestyle’s hopes
A flashy mansion, a crisis of identity, and Keene’s angel navigates his own metaphysical confusion. Sandra Oh jumps out as Gabriel’s unimpressed heavenly boss, and Keke Palmer joins the cast as a fellow labored employee in the world of Hustle. It appears that Gabriel is someone who needs to look for a little soul, as both men have not learned exactly the morality they were intended to.
This marks the feature debut of Emmy Award-winning Ansari (Master of None, Parks and Recreation, None). Good luck was originally before Ansari’s stopping project was fatal and now marks his first completed feature behind the camera.
Stidiocanal will release its luck at Australian cinemas on October 16th, and Lionsgate will release it at US cinemas on October 17th.
