Nintendo has announced that they have cast Link and Zelda in the Legend of Zelda movie in live action.
Zelda will be played by Bo Bragason and the link will be played by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth. Both are Braguson’s British actors known for her work on the BBC’s three girls, and Renegade Nell from the Pier and Disney+ series is known for his unforgettable work and remake of Bly Manor.
The film is scheduled to be released in theaters on May 7, 2027. Thank you for your patience. (2/2)

The Legend of Zelda film was released in theaters on May 7, 2027. I don’t know anything else about upcoming films in terms of whether to follow the story of the game or not, but Miyamoto is apparently involved and clearly knows to introduce both Link and Zelda.
We also know that another Nintendo movie is scheduled to be released early next year (the title of Super Mario World). Once the trademark placed by Nintendo this week is revealed, it appears that Donkey Kong’s film is also on the way.
