The production designers behind Kid Snow, Sting, Tarot and the correspondent will compete for the Best Feature Film at the Australian Production Design Guild Awards next month.

Over 120 designers and design associates have been nominated for this year’s awards and will be held at the NSW State Library in Sydney on August 16th.

Furiosa: Mad Max Saga and correspondent each lead the field with three nominations, followed by Kingdom of the Apes with two nominations.

As for the costume design award, Betterman, Inside, Runt and correspondents are heading for the film gong. Meanwhile, the TV category will be a contest between House of God, Lost Boys & Filey, Nautilus and Newsreaders.

“We look forward to coming together in Sydney to celebrate the candidate’s extraordinary design work,” said APDG President Michael Scott Mitchell.

“The breadth and width of talented designers is truly remarkable.”
