Ninja Theory today announced that Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II Enhanced will be released on August 12th. Xbox Series X | Free updates for S and Xbox PC/Steam, and will be released on PS5 on the same day.
The new version features performance modes with 60fps on the console and extremely high presets on the PC, further boosting fidelity. The first time the game is a steam deck is verified. The PS5 has PS5 Pro support, which also takes advantage of the tactile feedback and adaptive triggers of the dual sense controller.
It features a new dark corruption mode in which dark corruption grows with every failure, and if it reaches Senua’s head, the game is over and you need to start over again. It also features an extended photo mode with new motion tabs for custom cinematic video capture, and over 4 hours of developer commentary.
It has also been revealed that the original game has been updated to PS5. Those who have a game on PS4 can either upgrade for free or purchase a special deluxe edition that includes not only the original game but also the original soundtrack.
