Nicholas Garlitsin officially enveloped the filming of Masters of the Universe, the upcoming live-action reboot of the classic Mattel property.
Red, white, royal blue and your star ideas are suitable for He-Man’s iconic outfit, while sharing teaser photos on Instagram and providing dramatic shots of his back. It’s mostly a silhouette, but feel free to do some screenshots, zoom in, or brighten them up.
“Well, it’s a rap of the Masters of the Universe,” Garitsin wrote in the caption. “It was an honor to protect the responsibility of playing Adam and his Mann, and it was a lifelong role and I put it all in it.
A new take on the origins of He-Man
Directed by Travis Knight (Bumblebee, Kubo, The Two Strings), the Master of the Universe is sold as a fresh spin on the franchise, rethinking the origins of He-Man with an Earth-based twist.
The film follows Prince Adam, a 10-year-old who crashes on Earth and is separated from the sword of mystical powers. Almost 20 years later, Adam eventually recovered the lost weapons, causing his return, and threw him into a battle with Skeletto’s growth potential. To get a chance against the dark magician, Adam must confront the secrets of his past and accept his fate, the most powerful man in the universe.
The script was written by Chris Butler. Chris Butler co-written two strings with Kubo of Knight.

Joining Garitzine in the film’s vast cast include Jaletreto as Skelette, Camila Mendes as Teela, Idris Elba as Duncan/Man at Arms, Alison Brie (now Evelyn Powers), Morena Bakarin, James Purefoy as James Purefoy, and Bakarin as Moonus as Charlotte.
