Update: Nintendo has detailed the free Nintendo Switch 2 game update for a few OG Switch games.
Some games get resolution updates, frame rate improvements, other HDR support, and some games get all three. The list is below.

Original Story: OG Getting Enhanced Versions of Nintendo Switch 2 In addition to just a handful of Nintendo Switch games, Nintendo has also announced a handful of OG Switch games getting the Free Switch 2 update.
The updates vary from game to game and add support for features such as improved resolution, frame rate, or game share.
The most prominent things on the list are Pokemon Scarlet and Violet. This was one of the main games that was criticised for how it was run on the original Nintendo Siwtch.
